We had my fella's parents over for dinner last night.
Mom Mave and Poppa Mike are kind, down-to-earth folks, just like their son.
And Poppa Mike didn't need new golf clubs or a NASCAR weekend to make him happy on father's day. He was thrilled to get time with his son, a phone call from his daughter, and a 15 pack of his favorite snack - Hawkins Cheezies. (Clockwise: my fella, his dad and the Cheezies).
*Sidenote: my cyberpal Don from Oklahoma had a great father's post on his website and he included the classic Harry Chapin tune, Cats In the Cradle. I forgot how much I love this song:

The song really catches life the way it is, we always figure we are going to have "another day" in order to get it right, to make amends, to do the thing that never quite did not get done. We feel that the resource of time will always be available to us, and sadly, it is often just the opposite, we have no time in order to do that which calls out to be done.
This song hits the nail on the head, everytime I hear it the lyrics seem so correct, it never seems to get old for me, it always seems fresh in my mind.
How did you crop it like that? When I gnaked it from U-Tube I had all that other garbage with it, it was not so nicely presented in the fashion that you have here.
Tell me your secrets gurl?

When you say crop, do you mean embed the actual picture on screen, instead of just a link?
When you post a blog in Typepad, there's a tab you click at the top of the post that says 'compose post' and another one that says 'edit HTML'... when you put a YouTube video up you have to change to HTML to embed the data, and then change back before you publish.
Wordpress may be different, though.
