It's been chilly in the Okanagan for the past week, since August 31st.
We had some sunny days but the nights have gotten down to +4C, with frost on the windshields in the morning.
When it starts getting cold, I yank out my Mexico pictures for a quick peek. I had forgotten about this one.
This coconut was lying on a deserted beach in our favorite Mexican village, Lo De Marcos, in the state of Nayarit.
I stopped and did a double take when we first walked by it. Doesn't it look like a little alien face to you? Creepy.
This is my new weekend wallpaper. Feel free to save and swipe it if you like.
And here's the Okanagan forecast for the week ahead from Weather Underground.
