We've made it home for another golf season.
My Fella actually started his seasonal golf gig today and both of us are happy that he's working again. It gives us something new to talk about and some much needed personal space :)
Our trip from the Canadian border to the north Okanagan was pretty colorful, going from grey to white to green within a span of five hours.
These last two pics were taken in our 'hood.
You can see snow at the mountain peaks, but green grass and new growth has sprouted everywhere. Although the river (below) is still freezing cold...
We've been back less than a week and already have several projects on the go:
- we're parked on a new RV site this year that's just begging for some cool landscaping
- I have an RV office project in the works involving a glue gun and mucho Mexico seashells (the last time someone trusted me with a glue gun, I hot-glued an 18" aluminum letter 'K' to a co-workers pants AND I burned my elbow... not sure if I should even be allowed to hold a glue gun)
- we need to submit our 2010 taxes
- and figure out a planting strategy for the spring/summer
And since six month old Norman is from Tucson and hasn't seen much water, Shelbert is excited to teach him to swim in the local lake. Or maybe just dog paddle.
He's already got his own life jacket.
Hardly looks like golf weather - did you head back a bit early?

Senor C - the snowy shots were taking while driving thru the mountain pass. Yuck, hey?
We don't have snow in our 'hood and green stuff is popping up everywhere. My Fellas golf course opened today and it was chilly out, but the course was pretty busy.
Golfers are a goofy bunch!

Senor C - Mexico is definitely in the plans for next winter.
Out of curiosity - have you noticed any price inflation on fresh veggies in your part of the world?
