Just swiped this awesome story from Mashable.com:
"After website Main Street dubbed Grand Rapids, Michigan, a “dying city” (with the story also published in Newsweek) the citizens of Grand Rapids fought back with a massive, now-viral lip dub.
Director Rob Bliss managed to raise $40,000 to make the video, gathering together thousands of citizens to perform a one-take rendition of Don McLean’s “American Pie.”
Roger Ebert even called it the "greatest music video ever made":
That video was really cool.

Even the video picture quality is excellent!

Mavey - don't ya love it when the Underdog fights back?

Mr P - good point. Some corporations spend millions on advertising that doesn't come close to the quality of this simple video. And the fact that some of the lip sync-ers messed up their lines made it even more endearing :)

It almost been a month without updates.

Hey Mr P - how have ya been?
Guess I needed a blogging break - I really haven't had much to say lately. Most of July has been spent outside working on the stone path on our RV lot. And I lost a whack of cash on an investment in Yellow Media so I've been doing more trading than usual to make up my losses. I'll get back into the posting groove soon though 'cause I have to share my stone walkway pics. I'm pretty darn proud of that stone path :)
Have you and your bride taken any summer RV trips? How's the rig?

Hi Dennis - there's no real reason for the lack of updates... except maybe laziness :)
Are you a fellow RV-er?
