Yes, a story like that really strengthens my belief that it takes an IQ of one's shoe size to get hired at the Canadian border. Sad story indeed. To think that she spent two weeks in a Canadian jail over a jug of oil!! UNBELIEVABLE! I know cause I have had dealings with these border miscreants too! Sad, Sad, Sad!

Rene - I remember your post about that nasty border experience you had.
Outside of the difficulty I had importing JohnnyDisco into Canada, we've never had a negative experience at a border crossing. I fear our time is coming... :(

All of our border crossings have been very positive....including importing our Motorhome.
( But then again, you can count on one hand the amount of times we have crossed the border....LOL )
Here's hoping all of us Snowbirds have successful crossings this year !!
