Here is another useful site:

T Gypsy - we like that site too and have been using it to plan our trip south this year. There are some great casinos between BC and the Gulf Coast.
To be honest, we aren't really into casinos or gambling; we judge every casino by it's buffet menu. The more cheese at the salad bar, the higher the rating in my eyes :)

Having done a LOT of RV'ing the Walmart stops can surely be a topic of conversation.

One thing to consider is the fact that while a Walmart or the city Fathers of a particular location may publicize NO OVERNIGHT PARKING at Walmart, this is often not the actual case.

We have talked with officials in Walmart parking lots who gave us permission to park overnight even though there were signs posted to the contrary.

They explain that they must post the signs by demand of the local government, however they do not have a problem with it.

OK so this is a little dicey from a planning standpoint - just saying the prohibitive signs do not always tell the whole story.

Also agree that being respectful of Walmart and not abusing the hospitality is CRUCIAL to the future of all RV'ers occasionally using this opportunity.
